"Subluxation: The Silent Killer"
"I know you feel fine and you look healthy too. It's great that you exercise and eat balanced diet, but you must be aware of what is silently happening inside your body. "You may ask, "what is a subluxation and why is it called the silent killer?
The best way to begin is to define what a subluxation is. A subluxation is a spinal misalignment when one or more vertebral bones are out of place putting pressure on the spinal nerves.
Subluxation decrease proper nerve flow from the brain, down the spine and out to all the organs. They are called the "silent killer" because they can destroy your health for years without you knowing it. The subluxations will eventually cause pain, symptoms, illness, disease, and maybe death. Subluxations can be painless, but pain is a warning sign indicating they have been there for weeks, months, years, since birth or even during pregnancy.
Patients get so excited when they are feeling better. After a short time of getting adjusted they have more energy, sleep better, and their symptoms are disappearing.
Don't take it upon yourself to cut back your care schedule that is for your Chiropractor to determine.
We always stress that chiropractic is the first line of defense to stay healthy, and all other good health habits are secondary. If you have subluxations, that are left uncorrected, it doesn't matter what vitamins you take, what you eat, and when you exercise. The subluxations are "silently" working against your health, even though you may think you are the picture of health.
We love to hear, "oh, thank you, thank you, I'm all better! You send chills up and down my spine. Chiropractic is the best, you're the best!" Just remember why you started care and why your must continue. If you are not presently under chiropractic care, now is the time to make that healthy lifestyle change. Health should be your priority and don't take it for granted how you look and feel.
